The 5 rules of football

 

1. There will be no rebounds from penalties

If a penalty is saved or hits the post, the game will stop restarting, meaning there will be no chance to follow up and score from the rebound, meaning players will no longer have to line up on the edge of the area.

2. Handballs inside the area

No goals will be allowed whether voluntarily or involuntarily hitting a player’s hand.

3. Substituted players can leave the field anywhere

When a player withdraws, they will no longer need to leave the field at the midline, but will be allowed to leave the field at the closest point.

4. Players can touch the ball in the area after a goalkeeper kicks it out

Until now, players couldn’t touch the ball until they left the box, but now they can.

5. Coaches will receive cards again

This has been done in the past, but the discipline of the coach has turned into a simple reprimand or sending off. Now they can receive yellow and red cards like players.
