Justin Zanik has been the general manager of the Utah Jazz since 2017.  He is a native of Salt Lake City and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in economics.  Zanik has been with the Jazz organization since 2004, when he was hired as an intern, eventually becoming the team’s assistant general manager in 2012.  Under Zanik’s leadership, the Jazz have become one of the most consistent teams in the NBA.  They have made the playoffs in each of the past seven seasons, and they have reached the Western Conference Finals twice.  In 2023, Zanik was named the NBA’s Executive of the Year.  He is a highly respected figure in the league and is seen as one of the brightest young minds in basketball management.
