Korkmaz spent his first year with Efes playing for the junior squad. He joined the Turkish 2nd-tier level TB2L team Pertevniyal, the farm club of Anadolu Efes, in 2013. His annual compensation was $250,000. 

 

Korkmaz signed a $2 million contract with Anadolu Efes’ senior men’s team in 2014.
