Cristiano Ronaldo made more history, becoming the first player to complete the season’s top scorer in the three major leagues of England, Spain and Italy.
The 36-year-old player has scored 29 goals this season, five goals more than the second-ranked Belgian Romelu Lukaku, and won the championship of Inter Milan.
The Portuguese striker became England’s top scorer with Manchester United in 2008 and won the top scorer three times with Real Madrid in Spain in 2011, 2014 and 2015.
But this is the first time the former five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored the most goals in three seasons.
Ronaldo scored 21 goals in his first season after joining in 2018. He scored 31 goals last season, behind Lazio’s Ciro Immobile (36).
In all competitions, he has now scored 101 goals for Juventus.
He stayed on the bench in Juventus’ last league game, defeating Bologna 4-1, thus securing the top four and Champions League football next season.
There is speculation whether Ronaldo’s future at the club has failed to enter the Champions League for the first time since 2012, after their nine-year league rule ended this season.
