Rebecca Burnett is married to Jordan Henderson and the mother of their three children will be proud after the Liverpool captain won the Premier League and the FWA Player of the Year award Nobody will be prouder of Jordan Henderson than wife Rebecca Burnett – the woman behind the Liverpool captain.

Rebecca is a mother to their three children and has been with Henderson since the very beginning of his journey to the top. The couple met as teenagers while Henderson was at Sunderland, and they have been together ever since. It has not always been smooth sailing for the 30-year-old, who experienced some tough times, even after he secured a transfer to Anfield. Henderson worked his way up through the youth ranks at the Stadium of Light before joining Liverpool in 2011.

The England international came in for criticism during his early days on Merseyside and came close to being flogged to Fulham as part of a swap deal involving Clint Dempsey, but that never materialized.

Liverpool fans will now forever be thankful it never did, as Henderson has been pivotal for them on and off the pitch. He has been a leader in the dressing room, and his quality has now truly been recognized by all those within the game.

Two days after lifting the Premier League trophy at Anfield, Henderson has been crowned the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year.

Wife Rebecca has been with him every step of the way, and she attends as many of his matches for Liverpool and England as possible. Rebecca stays out of the spotlight more so than some WAGs, however, and keeps a low profile as the pair enjoy their private life. They wed back in 2014 and soon after had three children together as their family grew.

First daughter Alexa was born in the same year as the couple’s wedding, while second girl Alba came along not long after in 2015.

Liverpool’s skipper just about made the birth of Alba as he raced to be by Rebecca’s side before joining back up with the team after a sleepless night for an FA Cup quarter-final replay win at Blackburn. In 2018, Rebecca took the children with her to Russia to cheer on their husband Henderson as England reached the World Cup semi-finals.

Henderson and Rebecca then had a third child, a boy, earlier this year, exactly nine months after Liverpool’s historic 4-0 triumph over Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final second leg last May.
