The stunning daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire regular Dawn, who will be a late arrival on the show, secretly dated the Everton ace before giving him the elbow so she could take part in the matchmaking programme.

The blonde model, 20, was quietly seeing the England defender, 21, for several months after being introduced by mutual friends earlier this year, but called time on the relationship four weeks ago.

Dawn is one of the original cast members of ITVBe’s The Real Housewives of Cheshire and returned this year for the seventh series of the show.

The WAG lives in a £15million mansion with ex-footballer Ashley Ward, 47, and counts Coleen Rooney, 32, as a client at her beauty business.

A source close to the beauty said: “Taylor and Mason hit it off after hanging around in the same crowd and enjoyed several romantic dates together. But Taylor decided they weren’t quite the right fit as a couple in the long run so told him she was happier to be his mate instead.

He’s still young in his football career and wants to concentrate on his sport instead of having a serious girlfriend.

“After jetting off on a family holiday to Turkey Taylor is in a great place and is open to meeting a new man when she in the Love Island villa in a few weeks time. She has her mum’s full support and hopes it will help boost her modelling status too.”
