ManUTD transfer news RECAP Frenkie de Jong’s latest award nomination as Manchester United duo
Manchester United will be keeping a close eye on progress on the international stage, with the current international break set to break out tonight.
Their respective countries have called up several of Erik ten Hag’s players for the break, which marks the last chance for national team managers to assess their players before deciding on their World Cup squad. The likes of Raphael Varane, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia are all likely to play for France, Denmark, and the Netherlands tonight.
United will be watching this closely, hoping to avoid any injury problems. Ten Hag is already battling some issues in his squad and will be determined to keep the Carrington treatment room as clean as possible ahead of October’s relentless schedule.
As well as using the international break to keep a close eye on their players, United is also using the current break to discuss transfer plans ahead of January. The club recruited six new faces over the summer, and there is a good chance they will re-enter the market in the new year.
