Meet pretty Maria Cortes; the wife of Spanish footballer José Ignacio Fernandez Iglesias otherwise known simply as Nacho. Her central defender man currently plays for Real Madrid and the Spain National team.

2014 was a good year for Nacho, he not only tied the knot to his longtime gal but also signed a new contract with Real Madrid until 2021.

The pair invited several of his teammates to the ceremony including Álvaro Arbeloa, Asier Illarramendi, Álvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, Isco o Jesús Fernández. They held the May 31, 2014 ceremony at the Asunción de Meco Church in Madrid.

The ecstatic couple shared the happy day posting photos on their social media. The newlyweds took a trip to Thailand for their honeymoon.
